Floral Inspiration on a Sunday

Yesterday I welcomed another lovely group of creative souls to my floral wonderland for a relaxing afternoon of drawing, painting, admiring flowers and foliage, sipping cool drinks and, most importantly, eating cake!

Although the sun didn’t shine for us, we brought colour and vibrancy to a dull April afternoon, looking closely at the colouring of coral peonies (first of the season), examining the curves of buttery yellow freesias and distilling the structure of a range of foliage to its bare lines.

Thank you once again to everyone who came and brightened up an otherwise grey day. For details of future workshops, or to join my mailing list, please get in touch.

‘Just wanted to quickly say how much me and my Mum and sister enjoyed your workshop yesterday. It was brilliantly organised, and so generous too, with all the different materials  – not to mention the cakes! It was the perfect birthday treat, and I will be back for more! Can’t think of a nicer way to spend a Sunday afternoon.’
